SUNDANCE HELICOPTERS TO FLY 100 VETERANS AND FAMILY MEMBERS IN HONOR OF VETERANS DAY
Part of “A Salute to the Troops” week and Gary Sinise Foundation
Las Vegas, (November 9 ,2015) — Sundance Helicopters, Inc., one of the top rated experiential tour companies in Las Vegas, will create a memorable Veterans Day weekend by flying more than 100 wounded service members, their caregivers, family members, friends, and supporters on helicopter tours of the Las Vegas Strip on Sunday, November 13. This excursion is part of the 9th annual “A Salute to the Troops,” weeklong event where groups of veterans from around the country fly to Las Vegas to celebrate Veterans Day.
“The last helicopter experience these American heroes remember was being medivaced to safety to get medical care,” said James Palmersheim, senior manager of Military and Veteran Initiatives, American Airlines. “This event is the highlight of their weekend and gives them a positive memory of helicopters.”

In total, four Sundance Helicopters will be flown from the Terrible Herbst terminal to transport more than 100 people visiting from all across the United States. Passengers will experience breathtaking views of the Las Vegas Strip from 800 feet in the air. Lunch and entertainment will also be provided at the terminal. Actor Gary Sinise will also make an appearance.
